State of the World’s Plants Report and Symposium (25-26 May 2017)

Kew’s State of the World’s Plants report provides a baseline assessment of our current knowledge of the diversity of plants on earth, the global threats that plants face, and the policies dealing with them. Launched in conjunction with a website and an international scientific symposium, Kew’s State of the World’s Plants sets an important standard from which we can annually track trends in global plant status.

symposiumThe 2nd international State of the World’s Plants Symposium will take place at Kew on 25–26 May 2017. This two-day symposium offers a platform to discuss issues raised in the report and to engage the scientific community, policymakers and public alike. Some IPAMed project partners will attend this symposium.
